Amazing Japan: 長部田海床路：sinking road in Kumamoto

  There are many beautiful places in Kumamoto. But it is better to get the most of places by car.

長部田海床道 which is the sinking road is also one of the places which is better to go by car.

It is sinks in the sea at high tide.

If you visit there by public transportation, you should take a train and get off at 住吉駅 Sumiyoshi station, and you can get there on foot about 20 minutes.

However, you must keep in mind that you can't use transportation IC cards to get train. So you should buy round trip tickets at Kumamoto station or other major station.

Because credit cards are not accepted at 住吉駅 Sumiyoshi station and on the train.

And trains are not frequently running, so you must not miss the train.

Amazing Japan: 通潤橋Tsujunkyo bridge in Kumamoto

 There are many beautiful places in Kumamoto. But it is better to get the most of places by car.

通潤橋Tsujunkyo bridge is also one of the places which is better to go by car.

It was built on 1854 in order to bring water for the places don't have much water.

And sometimes water is running from both sides of the bridge in order to reject sand.

The view of running water is amazing.

However I am not good at driving, so I tried to get there by public transportation.

I took a bus at 桜町バスターミナルSakura-machi bus terminal to 通潤山荘 Tsujunsanso and get off at 通潤橋前 Tsujunkyo-mae. It took about one and half hours. I could use IC for public transportation.

But the bus doesn't often go there. So I had to check the departure time before hand.

And I had to meet the time running water, so I had to catch the bus early morning.

However the view was valuable.
